how long was this exposure?

Jonathan Haeber wrote...
That was about 20 minutes. I was all around the exterior taking shots with my digi-cam while this was exposing.

Jonathan-- what was the film/dev combo for this ?? and is it 4x5? I'm planning to do some night photography soon with my 8x10 and could use some advice on that. this, again is stunning.

beautiful...too bad the numbers are covered. :(

Darron Fick wrote...
The clock numbers are simply overgrown now, so they appear covered. All the white (marble?) statuary out front is cloaked in dark cloth.

@marvellitsky: about 20 minutes, 85% moon, f-stop 8.0, Kodak T-Max (100 speed film), developed for six min. in D-76 stock solution at 70deg.Fahrenheit. Scanned on an Epson 4990, contrast and very very minor adjustments in Photoshop CS2. I hope that's all you need :-)

They really are beautiful photos and I suppose you can't avoid or resist the drama associated with it all, but really...I think it says more about us than him. Anyway, thanks for sharing. All art, as Michael full well knew, is controversial and all artists are judged.
