Lee Plaza Piano
Following through on the "piano" theme, we have the main ballroom piano in the Lee Plaza Hotel of Detroit, MI. This iconic symbol of Detroit’s decline has been photographed many times before – and much better than I have managed to do, I might add. For starters, take a look at Noel Kerns’ photo , and Keith Emmerich, too

You should totally link this one up big on black! This is a brilliant shot of arguably the most photogenic room in the entire city...and in Detroit, that's saying something!
Oh, and thanks for the call out...just an FYI though, the Emmerich link works fine, but the Kerns link is busted. ;-)

Eine bestimmt interessante Entdeckung, dieses Piano in dem ehemals sicher sehr schönen Raum/Gebäude. Tolles Foto :o)

Just imagine the beautiful music and parties that were once given in this great room. Great shot.
Thank you for sharing this with the
"If These Walls Could Talk" pool.

Excellent shot! It seems to be the iconic picture of this still beautiful building.

Great, the ghostly color on the piano contrasts well against the walls.

Just breathtaking. Sad that such a beautiful structure will be reduced to a pile of rubble. In another city perhaps it would be restored and preserved. You've captured the sadness beautifully.

Seen in your Lee Plaza Hotel set. (?)

You know, you're getting pretty good at this. I mean to say, you tell such good ghost stories. Love the difference in lighting so the warm lighting is on the walls and the cool spotlight (or moonbeam) is on the piano, just waiting for the pianist to stride onto the stage awash in shimmering applause.
