PacBell Building Auditorium
The 26th Story Auditorium at the 1925, neo-gothic and art deco PacBell building by Pfleuger and Miller. The mixture of moorish, deco and Mayan motifs in this room is astounding, but very difficult to capture with a camera.
ADDENDUM: Alexander (Aimwell) Cantin should receive due credit for this building – being as he was the lead architect on the project while working for Pfleuger and Miller – sigh… architecture is a brutal profession… if you work for the big guys you lose all chance at glory… oh, but what a project.
