I'm often surprised at how un-ornate telephone buildings can be. The other day I was in Salinas wondering what this one big, blank building with microwave apparati on top was, and I found it was an AT&T building, which reminded me of the big, blank phone building in Downtown San Jose. I've heard they're built that way in case of disaster.
This building is beautiful, however.
