Trying to go to my brothers side with no help from the army I left. After 1,050 days AWOL time, I spent 5 mo. in that stockade at Fort Ord and do know about the conditions you speak of. I now have a UD discharge and my life has been ruined much like my brothers life was ruined by the military.
