well written! As a colorado front range local and an avid explorer, it is always a welcome sight to see others spreading the history of this area. I have explored most of the standing sugar factories in the area and Eaton was my first. Even most of the locals have no idea what kind of infrastructure there was in place for the beat industry in the early to mid 20th century. Just about every major town and the time had its own sugar plant. Some less than 15 miles apart. Whole railroad systems which are still in place and some of it still active. It is truly a lost industry with the Greeley plant finally coming down. Great job and keep it up!
