Thank You! 240 views, and most people are keeping mum on this one. I wonder what they think. For all I know, they could despise the garish colors :-)

Frankly, yes... I would have gone with a paisley wallpaper and maybe some ferns in the corners. And better window treatments.

HA HA. I think a little track lighting would improve the ambience immensely. Add a few Sol LeWitt sculptures, and it's livable :-)

I think I dropped my glasses way down there on the left during a Sunday buffet. Did you happen to pick them up? They're horn-rims that just so happen to match the colors of this place, so they're quite hard to replace.

@coyrooster: I didn't see any glasses. I'm sorry to hear that. Next time I'm there, I'll definitely keep an eye out for them.

Wild.... I really dig abandonedness like this.
BTW, the miniature golf history paper is great too :)

Miniature golf history paper???

HA HA. The secret's out!
Yes, Todd. My senior thesis in college was probably the most goofball thesis one could think of: The Merit of Miniature Golf as Art and its related history.

Oh wow. I'll read that. And you REALLY should join us for the night game. I often describing it as being a sublime synthesis of miniature golf goofiness, the satisfaction of a long shot at a driving range, and the serenity of a moonlight hike.

Having just commented on the B&W version of this photo I take it back it also works in colour!

great job!! great shot. I went this weekend to the Rosie Memorial in Richmond, California

I live about a block away from that memorial. I always tell people that I live a stone's throw away from a National Park. It's a nice little place. Next time you should check out the SS Red Oak Victory, nearby:
