Marvelous, Jon. Spectral in more than one sense. Doubles always seem like a kind of haunting anyhow, but here, the limited perspective gives one the sense that these architectural echoes are more defined by the material forms, rather than the all-important hole that really is the essence of a door. Since no one has been passing through these doors for quite a while, that would make sense. Our view is shifted to the solid objects that frame the conduit rather than to the conduits themselves, and in this sense, one may feel (from our vantage point) a kind of blockage and stuckness that ghosts seem to have. Lovely work here.
