Column of Progress

At the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition, San Francisco.

The Column is a symbol of Human Achievement. Two-hundred feet in height, it will stand at the entrance to the forecourt of the Court of the Universe, overlooking the Esplanade, the North Gardens, and the yacht harbor.
